My core expertise centers on biological assays and their uses in both drug development and assessment of compounds for programs. My past experiences as Head of the Screening Division at the Centre for Drug Research and Development, and working in the pre-clinical biotech space provided a number of occasions whereby championed programs were evaluated in animals models. Previous experiences as a co-inventor on a technology that enabled assay creation of difficult to produce mammalian proteins, honed my molecular biology and molecular genetics skill set.  During the above tenures my skill set in the area of automation and high throughput biology grew and I have advised numerous clients on assay throughput, and applying automation to their processes.  Published over 45 peer-reviewed publications and participated in 5 patent applications.

My current role is to assist investigators in applying high throughput automation and my expertise to their biological process in a way that provides a cost effective solution to obtaining their data.  Biofactorial (Bio!) crosses the boundary from environmental processes, to large scale eDNA library building and screening, to library builds for DNA sequencing and qPCR methodology, to compound screening for drug discovery – all in high through-put modes.
