Nannaphat Sukkasam's academic journey, which began in Thailand, reflects a deep commitment to biological innovation. He earned a B.Sc. (2017) in Biology, building a strong foundation in the life sciences. His M.Sc. (2020) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology ignited his passion for synthetic and systems biology, where he began pioneering biopolymer production strategies in cyanobacteria, driven by a desire to protect our world. This passion fueled his Ph.D. (2023) in Biotechnology. During the final year of his PhD, as a visiting research student at the Hallam Lab, University of British Columbia, Canada, he acquired invaluable high-throughput tools, including the revolutionary microplate lighting-systems platform, enabling him to expand chemical screening and explore a vast array of bioproducts. Now, as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hallam Lab, he's actively translating his groundbreaking research into real-world solutions.
