Liam Hall is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Jim Johnson’s lab at the University of British Columbia. Liam completed his PhD at Deakin University, Australia under the supervision of Dr. Sean McGee, in which he studied the role of the Alzheimer’s Disease protein amyloid beta-42 in the development of heart disease in obesity. Liam currently studies how exercise and inactivity can impact pancreatic islet function and influence the onset and progression of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
